Conditions

Conditions are based on Boolean logic; if a condition is met then an email for approval will be sent to the required approver.

PreviousLookup TablesNextConditions for Approval

The Basic commands for conditions are:

  • equal to(=): Checks if two values are exactly the same.

  • not equal to(!=): Determines if two values are different from each other

  • greater than(>): Compares if one value is larger than another

  • less than(<): Compares if one value is smaller than another

  • greater than equal to(>=): Checks if one value is either larger than or equal to another

  • less than equal to (<=): Determines if one value is either smaller than or equal to another

  • contains: Checks, if a certain value or substring is present within a larger value or string.

  • does not contain: Determines if a certain value or substring is not present within a larger value or string

The And/Or Operator

AND: Evaluates as true only if all the conditions being compared are true.

OR: Evaluates as true if at least one of the conditions being compared is true.
